Sunrise Apartments has two lifts, one servicing A Block and another servicing the higher section of D Block.

Lifts are maintained by Schindler Lifts on a regular basis.

Lift security is provided by CXI and under Owners Corporation control.

Lift Security & Operation

The new lift security system went live on 13 December 2021.  Schindler Lift Swipes (used for the old system) are no longer functional and may be disposed appropriately.

---  Fobs. ---

Each Owner in A & D Block has been provided with a free issue of two fobs per apartment.  Additional fobs may be purchased through our Strata Manager at a cost of $100.  Replacement fobs may also be purchased at the same cost; however, it will be important to advise Civium of the lost fob number (if this is not known then we can derive this information by being told what fobs you do have).  Lost, stolen, damaged or mislaid fobs will be deactivated.  If the fob is found in the future you may request reactivation at no charge.

Control over fobs on issue is critical for building security - please report any missing or lost fobs immediately to Civium so that they can be deactivated.  Loss is quite a common problem with Tenants who forget to return them or pack them when moving.

--- Lift Operation  ---

Lift security means that your fob will work on the lift in the Block where your apartment is located but not the other block.

Strata Committee members and trades have access to all lifts.

To operate the lift simply place your fob near the scanner located near the exterior of the lift cabin (it has a blue light).  The scanner will show a green light to indicate the lift has been called to your floor.  Please note the up/down call buttons are no longer functional.

The lift cabin will come to your floor and the door will open automatically.

Enter the cabin and select your desired floor, as follows:

Basement     Minus (-) button then 1 (button)

Ground         0 button

or 1, 2, 3 for higher floors.

That's it!

Be wary of people you do not know trying to "tail-gate" you into the lift.  Take whatever action you deem appropriate to first protect yourself and then other property.

Lift Issues

Both lifts have emergency phones should you be trapped in a cabin.

In addition, it is believed that the system will allow a remote operator to open a door under certain circumstances.
