• Unfortunately our basement Garage Door was impacted by a vehicle just prior to Christmas.  Our Strata manager called out a maintenance technician who attended prior to Christmas.  Due to the Christmas/ New Year shut down information about the damage was not passed through to the Strata Committee for action until the second week of January 21.

    We have requested quotes for repair.  Once received we will authorise repairs to proceed, which is likely to involve ordering parts, etc.  Accordingly, the garage door is likely to be stuck in the open position until at least February 21.  Depending upon the repair costs the Owners Corporation will consider whether to make an insurance claim.

    Anyone who may have information concerning the damage is asked to report this to the Strata Manager (E. caroline.mitchell@civium.com.au).

    Since the incident we are aware of the theft of electric bikes from the C Block basement.  This would have required use of a trailer which would have to be parked near C10/C11 parking bays.  Ant information regarding this theft would also be appreciated – again please advise our Strata Manager.  Residents should be aware that property in the basement may not be safe (in vehicles or storage cages) while we await repairs.  Please keep an eye out for unusual activity around the complex.
