• CXI, our supplier for the lift access and security system, is now moving to install final control equipment for both lifts.  Delays relating to the install has been due to illness, the inability to access a key building area for the equipment installation and on-going delays in the provisioning of an NBN point.  The NBN service will take some weeks before it is completed; however, this only affects the ability of the Owners Corporation to remotely monitor and add new access fobs.

    Essentially the stages left are:

    1. Install equipment
    2. CXI / Schindler manage the changeover of security control on each lift
    3. NBN connection for remote access and control.

    Regarding the works at Point (2) during this changeover there may be a number of days between the Schindler system being deactivated and the CXI system coming online.  During this time the lifts will operate without any swipe access or fob – similar to a lot of lifts you find in shopping centres or public access buildings.

    Again we will endeavour to make sure all Owners and Residents are made aware of the timing for the system changeover.

    Many Owners have yet to respond to Civium with details of their fob requirements.  If no response if received the base allocation of lift fobs (2 per apartment in Blocks A & D) will coded and delivered to Civium for pick-up.  Pick-up will require proof of identity.  Please note that Owner Investors who have not responded may find that their Tenants have no lift access when the new system is activated.  Owners this is your responsibility to act and ensure that continued access is available.
