• Owners would now have received two Levy Notices for their Apartment – the second being a correction.  Please ignore the first.

It would seem that we have some issues with Civium when they issue Levy Notices.  In the first instance, the Levy Notices issued should have been sent before 1 June 2021 (as per the resolution of the 2020 AGM).  This was not done.

In addressing this matter Civium then put a due date of 10 July 2021 and indicated that the levies covered the three month period commencing 1 August 2021 (we have never had a quarter commencing on that date).

Owners would then have received a correcting Levy Notice with a due date of 10 June 2021 (which is correct) BUT the levies are for the quarter 1 June 2021 to 31 August 2021.

    So to summarise:

    1. The levies are due immediately
    2. There is a 30 day period of grace after which, if the levies remain outstanding, interest will accrue from 10 June 2021
    3. Unless anyone has paid in advance we are all unfinancial (today and until we pay) and not eligible to vote at the upcoming AGM on 22 July 2021
    4. The levies cover the period 1 June 2021 to 31 August 2021 and are subject to adjustment based on decisions made at the 2021 AGM

I trust that this clarifies the position for Owners.

    Sincerely

    Your Treasurer
