• The stairwell servicing B16-B20 apartments has, since day 1, suffered from water ingress when we get a decent rainfall.  Combined with dust from the basement carpark this can make the stairwell surfaces very slippery to walk on.  Some remediation has been done but the problem persists.

    Residents are advised that the Owners Corporation has accepted a quote that will see modifications made to catch and redirect water to an in-floor basement sump.

    The supplier is presently going through the trades compliance process, checking insurances, etc.  Once this is satisfactorily completed the supplier will be asked to proceed with the works.  The works will means that the basement area of the stairwell and some surrounds will not be accessible during the works.  In addition, due to concrete cutting and replacement some owners of some vehicles in the vicinity of the works may wish to relocate either to the street or a Visitor Bay.  No action will be taken by the Owners Corporation against those Owners parking in the Visitor Bays during the works.

    This is an early notification.  A further Notice will be issued to Residents and Owners when the dates for the works are known.
