• ACT Doorland have attended Sunrise Apartments and have advised that the Garage Door motor has failed and needs replacement.  The Owners Corporation is seeking clarification on a number of matters such as:

    • Is this related to the first set of repairs and thus a warranty item?  This is unlikely
    • Has the motor fused?
    • If the motor has fused, is it an insurable event?
    • Is the proposed replacement of s suitable grade to handle duty cycles of up to 150 open/closes per day for at least five years plus

    Irrespective of the above answers we will need to press on and replace the motor with a suitable quality replacement.  Unfortunately this again falls on a long weekend so nothing will happen until work resumes next week and then the motor may need to be ordered from Sydney/Melbourne, etc.
