• Owners are advised that Civium Strata issued Levy Notices today – please check your e-mail (or postal mail).

    Important:. The AGM 2021 saw the introduction of a 10% prompt payment discount for levies that are paid and in the Strata bank account on the due date.  Payment on the due date is unlikely to result in your payment arriving in time to obtain the discount.  Your account must have a zero balance by the due date.  If you pay on time your discount will appear on the next levy notice.

    The first Special Levy Notice has a due date of 15 Aug 2021 BUT the discount will be granted if full payment is received by 30 August 2021.

    Late or non-payment of levies has gradually driven up the annual levy fees, leaving it to Owners who pay on time to foot the bill while the Owners Corporation chases outstanding debts.  Accordingly, the discount will mean that prompt payers will obtain a saving of over 20% (10% discount and a saving on late payment interest (10% pa and related charges) on their annual and other levies.  Thus a $3,000 (not discounted) per quarter levy can mean a saving of $600 plus.

    Accordingly, Owners are encouraged to bring their accounts up to date.
