• Parking is one of the most frustrating issues at Sunrise Apartments, partly due to limited visitor bays but also because Residents improperly park in these bays and other areas blocking clear driveway access.  Since the beginning of the year the Owners Corporation has issued a number of Notices to Comply to Owners (who if not a Resident are obliged to address the issue to the point of lease termination).

    The Owners Corporation, recognises the on-going issue and has a strict policy of either towing a vehicle or pursuing non-compliant Owners through NCAT.  The result can be a first time fine of $1,100 and second and subsequent breaches a fine of up to $2,200 on each occasion.   At present Civium is preparing no less than 4 more Notice to Comply documents to be issued to Owners with the number averaging a bout two per week.

    If you are a Resident the only place you may park on-site is in your allocated car bay.  The Loading Zone may be used for removals (in and out) and large deliveries BUT only for the time it takes to complete the work.  Parking elsewhere (other than Visitors in Visitor Bays) is in breach of the By-laws – that includes your visitors.
