Sunrise Apartments continues to have a number of serial offenders who believe they can park in Visitor Bays, Turning and Loading zones and anywhere else on Common Property. Residdents frequently comment on the difficulty of ingress and egress through the ground level area with respect to the risk of injury to people and property damage. A number of Owners have received Notices to Comply. Please be assured the Owners Corporation will, in the event a Notice to Comply is not adhered to, take the matter to the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal where the first offence incurs a fine of up to $1,100 (into Government coffers) and further offences a fine of up to $2,200 each time (again into the Government coffers).
The following vehicles have been identified as serial offenders, parking regularly in Visitor Bays and elsewhere. The frequency and times clearly indicate the vehicles are operated by residents. Be warned these vehicles may be towed without notice and all costs of towing, storage and recovery will be recoverable from the vehicle owner. Indeed towing companies will not release the vehicle without full payment AND if not claimed will dispose of the vehicle to recover their costs.
NSW CDG 43M Subaru Forester (Black)
NSW BKB 62P Hyundai i30 (Grey)
NSW ECH 97A Nissan Qashqai (White)

The Owners Corporation accepts no liability for damage caused as a result of an illegally parked vehicle being removed from site.
If any of the above vehicles belong to you and you believe they are eligible to park on Common Property please contact our Strata Manager immediately.
