Rubbish Bins (General Waste – Red Top)

The Owners Corporation has now increased the General Waste Bins (Red Bins) to 20 x 240 litre – the maximum permitted.

The bins are emptied twice per week – which is equivalent to 80 once per week 120 litre bins.  120 litre bins are used for single residences and emptied only once per week.

Residents are reminded that all waste should be bagged and placed inside the rubbish bin.  The lid must close.  Waste should not be placed on top of bins or on the floor of the bin room.  Further only general household waste should be disposed in the general waste bins – other materials, except recycling must be disposed of by taking the material to a QPRC waste handling station.
